- Richard E. Merwin Scholarship: Rewards active student volunteer leaders in student branches or chapters who show promise in their academic and professional efforts.
- Lance Stafford Larson Paper Contest: Encourages students to develop excellence in their communication skills and achievement in the field of computer science.
- Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society: Given to computing students for their academic excellence.
- Outstanding Student Chapter Award: Recognizes professional and student chapter members who have made exceptional contributions to technical and societal activities, and membership advancement.
- Computing’s Top 30 Early Career Professionals for 2024: Opportunity for full-time professionals (for-profit or non-profit) or entrepreneurs who are making an impact. It is designed to spotlight the most distinguished early career professionals in computer science and engineering today.
The Scholarship Outreach Initiative (SOI) Committee brings together student volunteers to promote and increase awareness of scholarships offered by IEEE Computer Society. The committee also helps connect past winners with current aspirants to guide and support them through the application process.
