Abstract
The concept of automation as it relates to waste management systems falls under the purview of cleanliness and hygiene in this study. All growing nations have a common trend of disposing of rubbish in public places and on roadways, which usually damages the environment and creates a number of harmful conditions. In order to address these issues The term “smart dustbin” refers to a concept that combines hardware and software technologies, such as adding a Wi-Fi system to a regular trash can to provide users with free internet access for a certain amount of time. By rewarding the user for maintaining a clean environment, technology and proper waste management in a community go hand in hand. A smart dustbin uses a variety of technologies. The technology that measures the amount of trash dumped comes first, followed by the waste’s movement, and last, the ability to deliver vital messages and establish a connection between the user and the Wi-Fi system. Using a moisture sensor, the proposed system would additionally distinguish between solid and wet dust. The suggested system would run on a client-server architecture, which promises a healthy environment, a society free of pollution, and good health.
