Abstract

The care of the elderly especially who own a history of disease often takes a lot of time and energy. Because of lapse of memory, the elderly may forget to take medicine or take the wrong medicine. So more and more people hope to have a system to remind them to take medicine on time rightly. This paper is dedicated to providing senior citizens with help, using RFID technology and the LabVIEW virtual instrument technology to manage daily medication, the LabVIEW visual module (vision) technique to read bar code of related medicine. By comparing the indicators, such as information parameters, the paper hopes to guide senior citizens to take drugs in time so as to provide a full range of support and help.
