Abstract
This paper proposes a method for locating a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) target in a long L-shaped scenario with ultra-wideband (UWB) radar. Specifically, a refined multipath signal model adapted to the scenario under consideration is established. Next, we propose a two-stage target localization method, which first exploits the diffraction path to initially determine the area where the target might exist. Then an algorithm based on the grid matching is executed to acquire the precise target localization. Finally, numerical simulation proves the feasibility of this method.
