Abstract

Speed estimate is a significant argument for motor control system. With the professional SoC, various speed algorithms for incremental encoders have been proposed. In this work, a new speed algorithm based on RISC-V DSP is designed for better accuracy. Compared with traditional methods, this algorithm can effectively eliminate errors caused by unaligned problems and keep the precision in a high level in mostly full speed range.
