Abstract
Using sensors' deployment information in key management schemes is often proposed as a means to achieve local connectivity in large sensor networks. However, some proposed schemes are difficult when there are obstacles and holes in the network topology. We proposed an Irregular-location based Key Pre-distribution (IKP) scheme to solve the problem that boundary regions which have a fewer sensors may become isolated. Then, we addressed how to exchange messages among sensors in irregular sensor networks. Experimental results demonstrate that our method effectively deals with the exchange messages among sensors in the irregular region.
