Abstract

With an extending life expectancy and demand for medical healthcare, there are widespread and stringent requirements for advanced technology. In the current scenario, diabetes and hypertension have become prevalent health concerns affecting a significant portion of the population. Many individuals face challenges in monitoring their glucose levels and blood pressure independently, leading to increased expenses for each test. This demands a technology that can aid in these predicaments. To address these issues, a proposed system has been introduced, incorporating wearable sensors with Red Tacton and an IoT-based framework with the assistance of a PIC microcontroller which is intended to check the glucose level, body temperature, and blood pressure through remote correspondence. This proposed framework completely makes a helpful route for a person as it utilizes trend-setting innovations equipped with Red Tacton technology, which allows communication through the human body's electric field to check various health parameters, including glucose level, internal body temperature, and blood pressure through a Wireless Body Area network (WBAN) employing IoT. RedTacton enables secure and reliable data transmission between the sensors and the IoT-based framework, eliminating the need for wired connections. The wearable sensors integrated into the system include a body temperature sensor, a non-invasive glucose sensor, and an ECG sensor for monitoring different health characteristics. The collected data is transmitted wirelessly to the PIC system allows for seamless connectivity between the wearable sensors, the microcontroller, and a user interface such as a smartphone or computer. This enables individuals to access realtime health data, receive alerts or notifications for abnormal readings, and maintain a comprehensive health profile.
