Abstract
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) has been an industry leader for more than a decade in enabling demand response participation in its Ancillary Services markets. Load Resources (formerly known as Loads Acting as a Resource, or LaaRs) have been eligible to provide Ancillary Services in ERCOT since the restructuring of the market in 2001.
