Abstract
In order to improve design efficiency, enrich design methods, and enhance design capabilities, the EKL programming function in CATIA V6 was applied to write programs for the rudder and its calculation sheet, and the modeling was completed. In this paper, the difficulties in the design programming process are discussed, and combined with the problems encountered in the previous design process, the EKL programming modeling is analyzed and summarized. For the important outfitting component, EKL programming three-dimensional modeling design can greatly reduce the design cycle, quickly and conveniently complete model conversion and other tasks, effectively improve work efficiency.
