Abstract
The recrystallization behavior of Mn-Nb-Cu-B micro alloyed low-carbon steel was studied using stress relaxation experiments. The stress-strain curves of the stress relaxation process under different process conditions were measured on the thermal simulation testing machine. By analyzing the curve trend, it can be determined whether the austenite is in the recrystallized or non-recrystallized zone after a certain predeformation at a certain temperature. In the austenite recrystallization zone, recrystallization kinetics curves were obtained at different temperatures and deformation rates. Meanwhile, based on the experimental results, the formula for calculating the recrystallization start time and the recrystallization kinetics equation of the studied steel grade were proposed, and the calculated values were in good agreement with the experimental values.
