Abstract
Due to the increased transportation demand, the stability and safety of the tank structure caused by liquid sloshing has also attracted more attention. This paper establishes a 3D model and creates a numerical model based on the VOF method. The effects of the number of vertical baffles on the sloshing characteristics, such as waveform changes, flow field distribution, and sloshing pressure, were investigated. The results show that the greater the number of vertical partitions, the better the damping effect.
