Abstract

Reverse architecting is a flavor of reverse engineering that concerns with the extraction of software architecture models from the system implementation. This paper presents our experience in recovering the architecture of an embedded software system developed in Nokia. We outline our reverse architecting approach; discuss its application on the case study and present usage scenarios of the extracted information.
