Nita Patel
President
Nita Patel, P.E., is Senior Director, Engineering Lead Design Center – Farmington at Otis leading a critical part of the global engineering development, providing a wide range of new product capabilities in connected, smart, IoT-based platforms. She was previously with L3Harris where she was Senior Director, Engineering, and led multi-disciplinary, embedded-software design teams in innovative research and new product development, for which she was recognized for significant technical contributions as 2014 L3 Engineer of the Year and 2011 New Hampshire Engineer of the Year.
Jyotika Athavale

Jyotika Athavale is a Senior Technical Leader and Functional Safety Architect at Nvidia Corporation. She is a recognized industry expert with in-depth technical knowledge of platform technologies and architectures for Automotive, Transportation and Avionics Safety Critical Systems, also with expertise in radiation effects modeling for soft errors performance. Based in the US, her 24 years of industry career experience in the semiconductor and EDA industry has spanned technical leadership positions as well as people management roles.
Grace Lewis

2023 Vice President, Technical & Conference Activities
Grace Lewis is a Principal Researcher at the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI). She is a Principal Investigator for the High-Assurance Software-Defined IoT Security project that is developing a software-defined IoT infrastructure that enables the integration of IoT devices into systems, regardless of provenance. She is also the lead for the Tactical Technologies Group (TTG) initiative that focuses on developing technologies that support personnel operating in tactical environments. Her current interests and projects are in IoT security, edge computing, software architecture, and technology evaluation.
